Funded Startups Hiring Right Now: 10 Teams With Open Roles

Funded Startups Hiring Right Now: 10 Teams With Open Roles

A funding round is a promise. The job posts are the startup keeping it.

Adamlead checks the careers pages of the startups it tracks. Right now 55 funded startups have open roles listed, around 690 jobs in total.

I went through the ones that raised since July. Here are ten worth knowing about, what they're hiring for, and what that tells you, whether you're looking for a job or looking for customers.

1. North

Series B, $60M · October 15 · Brooklyn · 11 open roles

North calls itself the financial operating system for cloud, AI and data. In plain terms, it helps companies understand and control what they spend on cloud and AI.

They raised on October 15 and the roles were already up: software engineers (including frontend), an account executive, customer success, a FinOps advocate, and a principal for private equity partnerships. All full-time, hybrid in Brooklyn.

What it tells you: they're building and selling at the same time. A "FinOps advocate" role means they're investing in community, not just sales.

2. Scarlet

Series B, $50M · October 12 · London · 10 open roles

Scarlet certifies AI medical devices without the usual delays.

Most roles are in London: medical device auditors, a lead auditor, account executives for the UK and the US, and a business development representative. There's one role in their New York office, and a remote contract role for clinical specialists in the UK.

What it tells you: the US account executive role is the interesting one. A London company hiring US sales right after a Series B is expanding.

3. Era

Seed, $11M · October 7 · San Francisco · 4 open roles

Era is building "intelligence to fit objects you choose". A 2-10 person team.

They're hiring a software engineer for moderation, trust and safety in SF, and an AI engineer for experiences, in SF or remote. There's also a general interest application for NYC, SF or remote, and internships where you "apply by making something".

What it tells you: a trust and safety engineer at seed means they expect users to make things, and they're planning for the problems that come with that.

4. Temporal

Series E, $550M · September 14 · Bellevue · 40+ open roles

"The world's best AI runs on Temporal." The biggest round on this list, and the most roles. Adamlead stops counting at 40 roles per company, and Temporal hit the cap.

The roles cover everything: senior developer success engineers, product managers for self-hosting and core primitives, a staff product marketing engineer, and a field marketing manager for sponsorships and events in London.

What it tells you: at this stage, every team is growing. If you sell to marketing, events or developer relations, this is a live account.

5. Highstock

Series A, $30M · September 10 · New York · 3 open roles

Highstock turns unsold inventory into a global opportunity. 2-10 people.

Three senior roles, all in New York: a head of operations/GM (8+ years), a strategic partner manager (2-5 years), and a growth lead for new verticals (5-7 years).

What it tells you: a $30M Series A with fewer than ten people, hiring a GM and a growth lead. They're about to go from founders doing everything to a real team.

6. telli

Seed, $15M · July 28 · Berlin · 22 open roles

"Every customer call, handled by AI."

Most of their roles are sales: account executives, senior account executives across enterprise and mid-market, and a VP of Sales in Berlin. Plus success engineers and internships.

What it tells you: 22 roles after a seed round, mostly sales, means the product is working and the bottleneck is selling it.

7. Andera

Series A, $37M · July 24 · San Francisco · 5 open roles

"Audit just got a whole lot easier."

All five roles are engineering, all on-site in San Francisco: a founding AI engineer, a lead AI engineer, a product engineering lead, an infrastructure engineer and a product engineer.

What it tells you: "founding" roles at Series A. The team is still 2-10 people, and the first engineers get a lot of say in which tools the company uses.

8. Natural

Series A, $30M · July 20 · San Francisco · 19 open roles

Payments for AI agents.

Nearly every role is engineering: product engineers for agent identity and observability, risk and credit, and general product, plus data, design and infrastructure engineers.

What it tells you: "agent identity" and "risk and credit" as separate teams. They're building a payments company, with all the compliance that comes with it.

9. Monumental

Series B, $32M · July 15 · Amsterdam · 24 open roles

Making construction autonomous.

These are the most physical roles on the list: construction robot operators (in the Netherlands and the UK), a founding robot operator in the US, electronics technicians, and deployment managers.

What it tells you: a "founding" role in the US means they're opening a new market. Robots need people on site, and that's who they're hiring.

10. Prime Intellect

Series A, $130M · July 8 · San Francisco · 28 open roles

"Own your intelligence."

Research and infrastructure roles: members of technical staff, applied research, research engineers, a solutions architect, a head of compute, and someone for compute finance and strategy.

What it tells you: a head of compute and a compute finance role. When a company needs someone just to manage what it spends on GPUs, the spend is big.

Two more worth a look

  • Multiplier (Seed, $6M, August 10) is building AI for asset managers in New York. Their founding engineer role lists the pay up front: $150k-$300k base and 1-4% equity. More startups should do this.
  • InstaLILY AI (Series B, $60M, July 14) has 11 roles across New York, London and Toronto, from design engineers to a revenue operations lead.

What the hiring tells us

Sales comes right after the round.

North, Scarlet and telli are all hiring account executives. The money goes to growth, and growth needs people selling.

"Founding" roles last longer than you'd think.

Andera is hiring a founding AI engineer at Series A. Multiplier is hiring a founding engineer at seed. Monumental is hiring a founding robot operator for the US at Series B. At these companies the first hires choose the tools, write the processes, and decide who gets the next contract.

Job posts lag the round.

Of the 22 startups that raised in the first half of October, only three have roles listed so far. Most companies take weeks to post. If you wait for the job post, someone else got there first.

If you're job hunting

Funded startups are the safest bet in a startup job search. The money is in the bank, and the roles are new, not backfills.

Apply early, and write to the founder directly. At 2-50 people, they read their own email.

If you sell to these teams

Hiring is a buying signal. Every new hire needs a laptop, accounts, software and onboarding. A new sales team needs a CRM, data and tools. A new engineering team needs infrastructure.

That's what Adamlead is for. It tracks funded startups, their rounds, their open roles and the people to contact. The full list of funded startups that are hiring, updated as roles change, is here: Funded startups hiring now.

Which of these would you apply to?

Data as of October 18, 2026. Rounds and open roles are as listed on each company's Adamlead profile; descriptions are each company's own.
