About Adamlead

Adamlead is a lead and job finder for startups that just raised funding. It tracks new rounds, then attaches the decision-makers, a confidence-scored email for each, and the company's real open roles — so the people selling to, partnering with, or recruiting for those startups can reach out while the budget is fresh.

It is deliberately narrow. Every company in the directory has a known funding date; nothing is listed until we know it raised. It's a smaller list than a general contact database, and that's the point: it's the list of companies that are about to spend.

Funding rounds

Rounds come from public funding announcements and SEC Form D filings — the notice most US private funding rounds file shortly after a first sale. Every candidate round is reviewed by a person before the company is published, because a filing's legal entity name often differs from the brand a company goes by. A company appears in the directory only once it has a funding date.

Contacts

Names and titles come from each company's own team and leadership pages, plus imported records, deduplicated per company. Titles are mapped to seniority and department only when the match is clear; otherwise they're left unclassified rather than guessed.

Email verification

An in-house engine checks every address for valid syntax, a domain that exists and accepts mail (a live MX lookup), and disposable or shared role inboxes. Each email is labelled verified, probable, or unverified with a 0–100 confidence score. When an address is inferred from a company's own email pattern rather than captured, it is recorded as inferred and scored lower — never presented with the confidence of a real one.

Open roles

Listings are read from each company's careers page or the applicant-tracking board it links to (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and others). A role that disappears from the company's page is marked closed. Pages whose robots.txt asks crawlers not to visit are skipped.

What Adamlead doesn't do

  • It doesn't send email or run outreach sequences for you — it's a data product.
  • It doesn't cover established enterprises or local businesses without a funding round.
  • It doesn't estimate funding amounts that weren't disclosed; those are left blank.
